Sparrow Feeding Jonathan Sainsbury
Sparrow feeding - watercolour - 17 x 26 cm - Jonathan Sainsbury

SBS are proud to support our talented and staunch supporter, Jonathan Sainsbury with this wonderful exhibition.

Redspot was founded in 2001 by a collective of some of the finest wildlife artists in Britain, producing work in a diverse range of media - delicate watercolours, bold oils, detailed scraper board and beaten metal sculpture.

The eight artists are defined by their talent and their passion for representing their vision of Nature through their art. They are all knowledgeable about the countryside and their commitment to conservation shines through everything they do. They work is collected worldwide and has been reproduced in dozens of books and publications.

All Hallows-on-the-Wall provides the Redspot artists with a wonderful space to display their art and an opportunity to support XLP’s extraordinary work with challenged individuals and communities within London.

The show also provides an opportunity to introduce young people to the joy of their natural heritage, the rural environment and the art it inspires. XLP and Redspot are launching an art award at
the exhibtion, open to the young people helped by XLP, made possible by a generous sponsor. The Headteacher of Sir John Cass Foundation Primary School has also been invited to bring parties of pupils to visit.
