LEAF Open Farm Sunday takes place in June every year at farms across Britain.

On one Sunday each year, farmers open their gates to let people come and experience life on the farm. It gives an opportunity for everyone to find out what happens on our farms, how our food is produced, and how farmers look after our countryside.

SBS gets involved in this fantastic initiative to help spread the word about wildlife-friendly farming and how it benefits our songbirds.

Since the first Open Farm Sunday in 2006, over 1600 farmers across the UK have opened their gates and welcomed 2.2 million people onto their farm for one Sunday each year. To find out more, visit the LEAF Open Farm Sunday website.
