More than half of our UK songbirds are threatened or already in decline

SongBird Survival is working to change the future of songbirds by funding research into the causes of the decline, and creating solutions.

Birds are essential to our ecosystem, and our own survival. We are destroying the natural world at an unprecedented rate and songbirds cannot evolve quickly enough to adapt and survive.

NATIONAL ROBIN DAY

On 21st December, join us in celebrating National Robin Day – a nationwide moment to show our love for songbirds. As natural food becomes more scarce, robins and other garden birds need our support. By taking small actions we can help them thrive.

Join us on National Robin Day and together we can make a difference.

Christmas Appeal 2025

UK songbirds are in real danger. 84 songbird species breed in the UK and over 50% are now considered at risk. We urgently need a better understanding of why UK songbirds are disappearing before it is too late.

Please donate to our Songbird Action Fund to help the songbirds that need our help most urgently.
