Charlotte Bartleet-Cross

Charlotte is a qualified research scientist, having studied an undergraduate degree in Zoology at the University of Reading.

This was followed by a postgraduate degree in Evolutionary and Behavioural Ecology at the University of Exeter. For the last 5 years she has worked on collecting field and lab-based data at the University of Sheffield for her research that focused on the conservation of songbird species and the genetic repercussions of sharp population declines abroad. She now wants to spend more time closer to home and use her passion to spread the message of saving our UK songbird species. Living in South Devon, Charlotte loves to go hiking across the moors with her dog and appreciate the dawn chorus in her garden, as she is an animal lover and keen conservationist.
