Alison has a long career in business management and consulting in information technology and communications, advising executives across many sectors how to successfully adopt 'Digital 'to help them achieve their business goals
A long-term Londoner (now moved cities to Winchester), in her spare time she especially enjoys singing, theatre, fine dining, tennis and skiing when she can. Alison cares passionately about nature, and working to reduce, even reverse, the enormous damage humanity has wreaked on the planet's wildlife, including the frighteningly fast and dramatic reductions in so many species of our beloved British songbirds. Having witnessed first-hand the rapid decline of songbirds in our cities, she became a member of SongBird Survival in 2009 seeking advice on how individuals can help songbirds thrive in urban environments. Alison was delighted to become a Trustee in 2021, hoping her skills can assist the charity to galvanise British institutions and communities to act urgently to reverse the rapid population decline of so many songbird species before they disappear forever from our island.
