If making an online bank or card payment is not your preference, you can also make a donation using a bank transfer or BACS transfer - minimum donation amount £500.

How BACS/Bank transfer donations work:

• Create an account with The Big Give here.
• Fill out a short form – it will ask you how much you want to donate.
• Once the form is complete, you will be given unique bank details for a ‘virtual account’ which is linked to your donor account.
• Transfer the donation amount from your bank account to the virtual bank account. Please note, as this is a virtual bank account your bank may not be able to verify it. The Big Give can provide a letter from Stripe to verify the authenticity of the bank details if you request it.
• Once The Big Give have received the funds to the virtual bank account, your donor account will be credited with the equivalent amount in donation funds.  E.g. If you transfer £1000 from your bank account to the virtual account, then your Big Give donor account will be credited with £1000 Donation Funds.
• When the campaign opens at midday on the 3rd December, you need to visit SongBird Survival’s campaign page (www.songbirdsos.org/doublemydonation) and click on the donate button.
• You will be prompted to sign in to your donor account at the top of the donation form.
• Once signed in, proceed to complete the donation form. The donation will be taken from their Donation Funds, and you will not be asked to provide any card details.

It is important to understand that steps 6-8 are crucial for match-funding to be allocated.

Just making the BACS transfer to the virtual bank account is not the actual donation to the campaign.

Please note that this BACS donation facility is only available for UK bank account holders.
