We are hiring - Fundraising Officer

Do you want to join us in changing the future for UK songbirds?

We’re looking for a Fundraising Officer to join our friendly, supportive and ambitious team at SongBird Survival.  It’s a new post and a great opportunity to help shape and grow individual giving, strengthen membership and build meaningful supporter relationships.

 

About the Role

In this role you will help grow our fundraising income and protect the UK’s wild songbirds. You’ll lead individual giving and multichannel appeals, strengthen supporter journeys and develop engaging donor communications. You’ll also support membership growth, regular giving, our weekly lottery and emerging corporate partnerships.

You will:

  • Lead     individual giving and deliver multichannel appeals
  • Develop     and promote membership
  • Support     the weekly lottery and corporate partnerships
  • Create     compelling donor communications
  • Use     data to optimise campaigns

 

About You

You’re energetic, creative and confident in individual giving. You enjoy using data, managing multiple projects and building strong supporter relationships. You’ll thrive in a small, supportive team and bring excellent communication, organisation and a positive, inclusive approach.

You bring:

  • Experience in individual giving and appeals
  • Strong stewardship and relationship‑building skills
  • CRM and digital marketing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organisation and a flexible, inclusive mindset

Bonus skills: membership, regular giving development, corporate partnerships

The Specifics

  • Hours: 16hours per week across a minimum of 3 days
  • Salary: £30,000 to £34,000 pro rata, starting salary up to £32,100 depending on experience
  • Location: Remote, home-based with a monthly co-working day in Diss, Norfolk (travel expenses paid)
