‍Today, we launch our new free Ruby Robin Award for children aged 5-11 years old. 

Kids can gain an award by learning more about birds and taking action to help them over Winter.​ 

Children receive a special certificate and badge for taking part. 

4 CHALLENGES:

Kids can choose different activities to complete 4 Challenges to gain the award, picking one each from: 

1.      Craft – make a simple crafty project at home,like a festive pine cone feeder!  

2.     Learn – discover fascinating facts  

3.     Bird spot – step outside and see how many feathered friends you can find 

4.     Fun – spread the bird loving vibes! 

We’re launching this award to inspire the next generation and help more families connect with nature this Winter. 

We want more children to learn about the birds they see and know how to take positive action for nature. 

Find our free activities and worksheets – There are lots of simple projects that can also give songbirds a boost. Like making a pine cone feeder, which will help give birds energy as cold snaps hit. Our activity sheets are perfect for 5-11year olds.
